Postpartum Chiropractic

During pregnancy, the body expands and opens.

Once postpartum, your body undertakes several more huge hormonal and biomechanical changes.

We'll make sure your spine, joints, and soft tissues are sound in supporting your body while everything is coming back together, so you can get back to feeling your best.

Common conditions we treat during postpartum

01

Mommy's Elbow

Mommy's elbow occurs when the ulnar nerve in the elbow becomes compressed or irritated, causing pain, numbness, or tingling in the hand. It is also known as cubital tunnel syndrome and can be caused by repetitive motions or prolonged pressure on the elbow.

03

Neck Pain/Nursing Neck

"Nursing neck" refers to the pain and stiffness in the neck and shoulders that can result from breastfeeding and holding a baby for extended periods of time.

02

Mid Back Pain

Caring for a new baby often involves prolonged and repetitive periods of holding, feeding and diaper changing. This can lead to muscle strain and discomfort, particularly in the neck, shoulders, and back.

04

Tight Hamstrings

After childbirth, there is another significant change in the center of gravity, which can lead to postural imbalances and tilting of the pelvis. Tight muscles, commonly the hamstrings, can occur as a result of these changes.
